Over a period of some thirty years the story of the professional life of Hideo Sasaki (1919-2000) - the firm he founded and the offices that subsequently developed from that firm, his time as educator and chair at Harvard's Graduate School of Design, and his endless contributions to the field of landscape design -- constitutes an important chapter in the history of landscape architecture.
